Award Category : Visual Communication Product Name : YOGA THE PEACE Yoga is originated in India and it also resembles the highest level of tranquility. Thousands of years, people have been trying to reach the ultimate peace through the practice of mediation and Yoga movements. This work is inspired by a series of Yoga poses, which are the symbolic of various meanings. Yoga is a meditation that is to enable one to purify his mind, to bring out one's positive energy within. With the positive energy from everyone, we are enabled and equipped to change from the heated atmosphere into a more peaceful world. My work is also trying to bring the general pubic closer to each other, to re-establish the link between one’s inner soul that reflecting one’s role in terms of the society and the nation through the symbolic meaning of the Yoga poses. Every piece of work consists of an equilateral triangle, where each point represents peace, harmony, and tranquility. It is symbolic of an anchor that contains the steadiness that humans long for.
